Howard Rosenthal
Howard Rosenthal grew up in family retail and brings an extensive business management and commercial real estate background to the firm.
He began his career in commercial real estate in 1977 with the Considine Company of Atlanta, Georgia. The company, in partnership with the Bass Brothers of Texas, acquired problematic real estate in need of renewal. After mentoring under John Prentiss, a former vice president of Rouse Development in Baltimore, Howard started an independent consulting firm dealing exclusively with problem office and retail properties, leasing, and management.
From 1984 to 1987 he served as Executive Director of the Bank of Hemet’s real estate development division. Until founding this firm in July 1987, Howard had only ever worked in real estate as a consultant and owner, never inside a brokerage.

Guy Excell
Guy Excell is a long-time Hemet resident and a 1980 graduate of Hemet High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the USC School of Business with an emphasis in real estate, finance, and investment.
He holds both a real estate broker’s license and a general contractor’s license, a combination that lets the firm evaluate a building’s physical condition and its financial condition at the same time. Guy was employed by The Bank of Hemet prior to co-founding Rosenthal & Excell in 1987.
He focuses full time on the sale and acquisition of commercial properties and on leasing, and has spent the last twenty years as a dominant presence in the local retail and office leasing market.
